Random the Book

We are writing a book about randomness, where it occurs, why it’s essential, and, most importantly, how to deal with it.

We are doing lots of background reading, but we also need to find some people to talk to.

Here are the first three people we’d like to find. Do you know anyone who fits the bill and whom you could introduce?

– a professional footballer who has been involved in lots of coin flips

– someone who builds roulette wheels for a living

– a software developer who could help us build a random number generator based on the movements of Maneki-neko cats (the Japanese waving-arm statues)
